Yukon Black Sucker Punch: A Twin Peaks Recap: Episode 11

July 24, 2017 - As anyone who's been in our store can probably tell, we are avid Twin Peaks fans. And as avid watchers, now that we're halfway through the new season we present to you a weekly Twin Peaks recap from our good friend and resident TP expert, Dan Aloisi. Dan guested on the last episode of Dorkside Podcast, which was dedicated to all things Twin Peaks.

 

But now through the end of the season, Dan will provide us with a wrap up for each episode full of his own wit and knowledge, in case you missed anything or want more insight. So without further ado, drink deep and descend as we present Black Yukon Sucker Punch!

Episode 11
Let's play catch. Ball into road. Moaning. There's someone there. Miriam is alive! Badly beaten. Left eye. Fat trout phone call. Becky. No car. Screams. Calls mommy Shelley comes right over. Becky's got a gun. Shelley drives an Olds? I hate him. Grabs keys. Mommy jumps on hood. Swirls and spins Shelley launched away. Becky drives away. Carl what the hell Shelley? Blows whistle. VW bus gives Shelley a ride back to town. Trouble in that trailer. Shelley calls Norma. Call Bobby!! Carl's got a direct line. Staircase. Apartment 208. Becky screams for Steven. They left! Shoots door. Flying down hall as the owl goes. Steven and...Gert Hayward? Sheriff department phones flooded. Copy that. Buckhorn vacant lot. This is the place? Gordon, Albert, Tammy, Diane, Bill and Mackley. Hole in fence, walk in 15/20 feet or so. Doesn't remember what happens next. Vanishing bearded man. I see it. This is the place. Think there's one in there Albert? We'll soon find out. Gordon and Albert enter the fence. Gordon walks forward with gun drawn. Blur. Vortex. Wind. Light. Flash. Albert looks on. Gordon raises his hands. All watch. Portal opens. Hands up. Staircase and bearded men. Gordon fades. Albert grabs and saves. Guess we found out. Another body. Diane smokes. Albert and Gordon go to body. Woman. Ruth Davenport I presume. Right arm raised and contorted. Writing on left arm- coordinates. Got a picture. Bearded man goes to car. Diane sees does nothing. Billy goes blurry. Bye-bye Bill. Same as NY. Diane looks in. Call for backup to 2240 Sycamore. There's no backup for this. He's dead. Double R at night. The Briggs family. Relationships are tough. She's not paying for the apartment damage. No money. He spent all the money. They gotta get her out of the trailer and away from him. Things aren't right in that trailer. We don't want to lose you. Crying. Sorry. Red shows up Shelley stops crying and gets giddy. She leaves. Bobby and Becky stunned. Mommy likes bad boys. All smiles. Gun shots. Kid playing with gun opened fire. Honking. Oh my god, Russ. Child is staring. Creepy. More honking. More honking. More honking. More honking. Deputy Jessie heard shots. Honking continues. Bobby goes to honking car. Women driver yells we're late. We have miles to go. Why is this happening? She's sick. Screams and sick. Vomit. Screams. Bobby stunned. Hawk and Truman. With maps they search. Truman with google. Hawk with skin. It's very old but always current. Blue Pine Mountain. Very sacred site. Fire. Symbol. Energy. Electricity. Good or bad depends on intent. Read the stars. Black corn. Disease unnatural death. Black fire. What is this? Frank, you don't ever want to know about that? Really? Really. Lucy chimes in. Line two. Margaret, the one that is blinking. My log is afraid of fire. There's fire where you are going. Goodnight Hawk. Goodnight and thank you Margaret. Knock. Deputy Jessie, new car? Gordon's hand twitches. Cat on a hot tin roof. Coffee? Warm milk? Albert shows pic of coordinates. Diane mouthing along. Albert suspicious. Can I smoke? The policeman's dream. Coffee and doughnuts. No suspects and positive ID on Ruth. They discuss the killing of Bill. Albert and Gordon saw somebody. Diane saw too, but could be mistaken. Mackley and Tammy saw nothing. Gordon saw the dirty bearded men in a room. Vegas. Mullins calls for Dougie. Phil's got the coffee. They'll be right in. Investing exposes corruption flowing through office. No arson. Shots called by someone else. Personal sit down at 5:30 with the Mitchum brothers. $30 million check. They're sending a car. Mitchum brothers eat Raisin Bran Crunch. Rodney angrily mouth agape. Bradley had a dream about killing Dougie. Can't wait can barely last three hours. Bradley can't eat. The Black Lodge appears at Szymons Famous Coffees urging Dougie in. Law man statue. Dougie has a box and the check. Dougie touches face for first time? He exists? Limo ride. Weird cover of Viva Las Vegas. Shawn Colvin, Why? Elvis version too expensive? Out to the dessert. The Mitchum brothers wait. Bradley's dream. Cut healed. Can't remember more. They wait more. Limo arrives. Dougie and his box. A dream remembered. Something in box? Can't kill him. Cherry pie! Cherry pie is not for enemies. Cherry pie is love. As creamed corn is garmonbozia. $30 million check. Bradley howls! He loves Dougie! Piano plays. I can't place this song!! But I can sing along to it!!! Annoys me! Here's to Dougie! Cheers! He notices the piano playing. Jackpot lady and son see Mr. Jackpots! She thanks him for saving her life. She can't ever thank him enough. What a special person he is. A kiss. Dougie smiles. She's so grateful. Here it is, pie and girls! Where's Candie been? So much traffic. It was incredible. Cars everywhere. Dougie loves pie. Pie is so damn good. Dougie seems to come to...is Cooper back? Thanks to cherry pie. Another piece of pie for our friend. Still can't place the song.
